What do those designations mean?
Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®). The ABR® designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate Buyer's Agent Council ("REBAC") of the National Association of REALTORS® who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria
Certified Residential Specialist (CRS)/Residential Real Estate Council (RRC) is the highest credential awarded to residential sales agents, managers and brokers.
Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI). Knowledgeable in new technology, laws, procedures, ethics and the increasing sophistication of buyers and sellers.
Military Relocation Specialist (MRP). This certification focuses on educating real estate professionals about working with current and former military service members to find the housing solutions that best suit their needs and take full advantage of military benefits and support.
Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource (SFR®). Knowledgeable in helping buyers and sellers maneuver the complexities of short sales and foreclosure opportunities.
Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES). The SRES® Designation course seeks to instill knowledge, understanding, and empathy for real estate clients and customers aged 50 and above. Gain the knowledge and expertise to counsel clients age 50+ through major financial and lifestyle transitions, including relocating, refinancing or selling the family home. The Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) designation is the only one of its kind recognized by the National Association of REALTORS®.
